Element NZ Make it Count Recap

Loads of kids rolled into Vic Skate park in Auckland on Saturday 30th July for the first ever NZ Make It Count event.

The weather gods were on our side for the Make it Count event and brought out the blue skies which otherwise was a dark wintery week of gail force winds and lots of rain.

All contestants donated a can of food to enter the competition which will be donated to the local food bank.

It was a hard day for the judges Christian Low and Chase Collins. The Opens were flying left, right and centre. South Auckland shredder Mitchell McCarthy took out first place with a crowd pleasing run and finished it off with a number of heavy bangers down the rail.

The next Make It Count is in Sydney this Saturday 6th of August at the Waterloo skatepark.
